Biography

Dr. Esquivel is a native of Chesterfield, Virginia and a graduate of the Math and Science Center at Clover Hill High School. She graduated summa cum laude from the College of William and Mary and went on to attend medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 2013. She completed her Family Practice Residency training at Blackstone Family Practice Residency and stayed on as the Residency Site Director for seven years, where she taught medical students and residents the practice of rural Family Medicine. She then moved to a practice closer to home where she has enjoyed providing care to members of her hometown community. 

She is passionate about the practice of Direct Primary Care as it allows her to spend quality time getting to know her patients and provide high quality, personalized care for them. She is trained in Lifestyle Medicine and also has a special interest in Women's Health. Apart from medicine she is passionate about being a parent to her three children, dabbling in interior design (a.k.a. spending too much money at Target), and growing fruits and vegetables in her backyard. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked with the Hispanic community in Virginia as well as abroad.
